That is a very hard question to answer without examining you. If the pain has worsened, I would recommend being seen. There are more than a few things that could create this situation. Thank you, Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

What doctor should I see?
I would recommend an extensive evaluation from your primary care doctor to make sure you don’t have gout or other inflammatory arthritis type diseases. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
I had a shot of Depo-medrol 80mg?
Drink more water, and it will take 6 to 8 weeks to leave the tissues in your knee. In most cases, that steroid stays locally, also decrease your sugar intake. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
Random pain in lower joints?
You may have hyper mobility syndrome or a component of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which creates hyper mobility in joints. Understanding normal ROM and improve muscle mass and strength around those joints should provide some improvement. No joint party tricks. Good luck, Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

Have you injured it in any way? Try a course of rest, Ice, and NSAIDS. If that doesn't work, seek medical attention. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
I have trigger finger?
Based on what was shared is that you were set up to have a trigger finger. The laceration created some local inflammation that related to your finger triggering. After the laceration healed and you had normal movement of your finger, the triggering recurred. The diagnosis is correct and thought the laceration may have been the last apple to tip the cart over. It wasn’t what caused the trigger finger. Best of luck, Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
My diagnosis and treatment recommendation?
It is hard to suggest a diagnosis and treatment without a full exam and a battery of tests. Pain in every muscle tendon and joint is suggestive of an autoimmune disease. There are other causes outside of rheumatoid. Work with a single specialist. If that fails, ask that Physician for a referral. In the interim, decrease sugar increase hydration and do low-impact exercise, like yoga. Good luck. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
Do I continue steroid injections before my knee replacement?
That is a great question. I would ask your replacement surgeon. However, if you are having muscle trigger point injections. The steroid can temporary elevate your blood sugar which can increase your risk of infection. As orthopedic surgeons putting metal in a joint infection is one of our biggest concerns. I would forego the trigger point injections and try a different medicine based treatment the month before. That would be my general recommendation, though you operating surgeon may be more comfortable knowing more about your medical history. Thank you, Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
I have pain from a fractured shoulder humerus bone?
The narcotics problem in our country is significant. If you are still in pain, and it is severe enough that it cannot be managed by ice and more over-the-counter medications, more narcotics may be necessary. Though you also need to appreciate that you will not be pain free. The medication is used to reduce your pain level. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
I have more pain after my knee replacement?
There are many reasons why your knee could still be swelling, and you should probably follow up with your surgeon. If you are unhappy with his answers, ask for a second opinion. In some rare cases, continued swelling of a total knee without improvement over 6 months may be a sign of infection, malposition of the components, metal allergic reaction, to name a few things. In some cases, it might just be a function of your body's recovery. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
I have lower pain on my lower right side?
I don’t really have enough information to comment, but lower right side could be many things. Track when you are having that pain and I recommend seeing someone if your pain is that significant. Thank you, Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE

Lower back pain for two months?
Recommend evaluation by physician if there has been no improvement. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
I fractured both wrists?
It depends on the extent of the fracture. Without looking at the X-rays, it would be hard to determine. I believe that course of treatment sounds reasonable. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
I have a ruptured bakers cyst?
Recommend this be evaluated by a surgeon. A Baker’s cyst normally doesn’t rupture through the skin. If there is pus draining, that is concerning. Baker’s cysts typically communicate with the knee joint. Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
What to do about my collarbone non union?
Yes, I’m not sure where you are located, I would be happy to see you and revise this surgery and give the bone an opportunity to heal. I would recommend a second opinion with another orthopedic surgeon either someone with additional training in shoulder or an orthopedic trauma surgeon. I have additional training in both. I’m guessing the fixation isn’t stable enough, and you have an atrophic nonunion. I hope you are able to have an improved result. With a shortened fracture, I tend to operate on these injuries immediately. Thank you, Robert D. Swift, DO, FAOAO READ MORE
