Recognized as a caring and compassionate pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. DeLarato serves patients at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her clinical practice focuses on the medical and surgical management of children’s eye problems including routine eye exams, diagnosis & treatment of eye diseases of infants & children, blocked tear ducts, “lazy eye” amblyopia, “crossed eyes” strabismus for both pediatric and adult patients as well as eye conditions in children with associated developmental and genetic eye problems.

Before embarking on her professional journey, Dr. DeLarato earned her undergraduate degree at Princeton University and her medical degree at Robert Wood Johnson-New Jersey Medical School. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania-Scheie Eye Institute, followed by a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

An expert in her field, the doctor is board-certified in pediatric ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.

Among her professional affiliations, she is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus.
