Get to know Osteopathy & Family Medicine Physician Dr. Julian L. Venegas, who serves the population of Tennessee. Dr. Venegas completed his undergraduate degree from Sonoma State University where he graduated with a bachelor of Art in Spanish. Furthering his education he received his Master of Arts in Psychology from his alma mater. He then attended the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific where he graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2000, giving him nearly two decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree he completed his internship with Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital. Wanting to further his training he complete his residency with the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Venegas is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. To stay up to date in his field he remains a professional member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Association of Osteopathy, and The Memphis Medical Society. He is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. He currently practices with Family Physicians Group and is affiliated with Baptist Memorial Health Care.
