Dr. Saikali received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the American University of the Caribbean. He went on to complete an internship at SUNY at Buffalo in internal medicine and a residency at the same school in neurology. Additionally, he has completed a fellowship at the Dent Neurologic Institute in headache and neuroimaging.
Dr. Saikali is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a nonprofit corporation that was founded in 1934 following conferences of committees appointed by the American Psychiatric Association, the American Neurological Association, and the then Section on Nervous and Mental Diseases of the American Medical Association. This action was taken as a method of identifying qualified specialists in psychiatry and neurology.
Dr. Saikali currently serves as a clinical assistant professor of neurology at UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences where he is involved in teaching medical students as well as neurology residents.
