A 1980 graduate of the University of Ibadan College of Medicine, Dr. Edoka relocated to the United States to further his education. Once there, he performed his residency at Meharry Medical College.
Following his training, he attained board certification in internal medicine and geriatric medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
