Get to know Dentist Dr. Zachary Spitzer, who serves patients in Wayne, New Jersey.

Dr. Spitzer is a caring, compassionate, and well-trained dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Spitzer Dental Design in Wayne, New Jersey. The state-of-the-art facility offers the most contemporary treatment options in a clean and modern office setting. From simple restorative dentistry to cosmetic cases, Dr. Spitzer strives to improve his patients’ oral health by providing them with the highest quality of dental care.

Dr. Spitzer earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Michigan and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. Thereafter, he went on to work as Head Surgical Assistant at the New York University Implant and Aesthetic Clinic where he managed advanced surgical and cosmetic cases.

In addition to his formal training, Dr. Spitzer interned with his father, Dr. Donald Spitzer, from a young age. As he grew with the practice, he gained valuable insight into the constantly changing world of dentistry.

Dr. Spitzer is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), as well as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Being a dentist, Dr. Spitzer specializes in oral health. His responsibilities include diagnosing oral diseases and promoting oral health and disease prevention – among others.

Dr. Spitzer is a certified Invisalign® provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces.
