Get to know Psychiatrist, Dr. Lynne Lyons, who serves patients in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan.

Dr. Lyons is a board-certified psychiatrist, medical director, owner, and president of Lakes Psychiatric Center located in the Lakes Medical Center in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Psychiatric services provided include diagnostic evaluations, including initial treatment recommendations, medication therapy and ongoing reviews, psychotherapy, SPRAVATO treatments for treatment-resistant depression, as well as TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) for depression.

Dr. Lyons holds two decades of experience working as a psychiatrist in outpatient settings and at Rose Hill Center which have allowed her to garner extensive experience in the evaluation and pharmacologic treatment of a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders. She opened her own practice in 2014 and now has has 3 other prescribers and 17 therapists working with her in a comprehensive team approach. They offer carefully optimized, individualized medication recommendations, psychotherapy services, as well as cutting-edge options such as SPRAVATO, Neurostar TMS, DBT, and genetic P450 testing to assist in selecting medications.

Dr. Lyons received her medical degree in 1994 at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She then pursued her residency in psychiatry at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Lyons is a state-level advocate for the rights of those suffering with mental disorders. Moreover, she attained the coveted title of fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA). She is licensed to practice in the state of Michigan.

Dr. Lyons is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. (ABPN) is a nonprofit corporation that was founded in 1934 as a method of identifying the qualified specialists in psychiatry and neurology. The ABPN is one of 24 member boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS).
