Dr. Lyons received her medical degree in 1994 at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She then pursued her residency in psychiatry at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Lyons is a state-level advocate for the rights of those suffering with mental disorders. Moreover, she attained the coveted title of fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA). She is licensed to practice in the state of Michigan.
