Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Moon graduated with his medical degree from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University in 1997. He then trained at both Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic, and received fellowship training in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona under noted Harvard trained physician, Dr. Anthony Weill, who is considered a pioneer in evidence-based complementary therapies.
Furthering his education, he earned his Master of Science degree in Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College.
Specializing in internal medicine as well as public health and general preventive medicine, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Following his tenure in Consultative and Diagnostic Medicine, where he became known by his peers as a master diagnostician, Dr. Moon became the Chair of Executive and International Medicine at Mayo Clinic. There, he spent nearly a decade and was ranked among the top 5 physicians in patient satisfaction, after which he moved his practice to Flagler Health+.
