Dr. Joseph Rosado, aka “Dr. Joe”, is a dedicated physician executive practicing medical care in Central Florida. He is also one of the world’s most well-respected medical authorities on medical cannabis as plant-based medicine, specializing in alternative and conventional medicine, opiate dependence/addiction, wellness, and physical rehabilitation.
Presently, Dr. Joe is the Owner/CEO of International Medical Consultants, Inc. based in DeLand, Florida. He provides medical cannabis consulting services to physicians and patients in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, UK, Europe and Southeast Asia.
As a physician and physician executive, Dr. Joe is the Medical Director of Complete Wellness Medical Centers where he oversees the evaluation, management and treatment of patients with osteoarthritis and/or degenerative joint diseases and peripheral neuropathy with Regenerative Therapies, the Medical Director of Panacea Alliance, in St. Augustine, FL where he is responsible for overseeing and evaluating, managing and treating patients with mental/behavioral health issues face-to-face and/or virtually and provides Suboxone Therapy for patients wanting to be off of opiates (narcotics).
He also works part-time in Orlando, FL and The Villages, FL with docmj.com as medical cannabis physician, providing medical cannabis recommendations to people suffering with/from cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV/AIDs, post-traumatic stress disorder, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) aka Lou Gehrig’s Syndrome, Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and terminal conditions among others in both English and Spanish.
As an educator, he is an adjunct professor with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Health Services Administration (SHSA) programs, where he is a course director, part-time instructor, assists with curriculum development, review and on-line distance education delivery in a compliant fashion via LECOM’s Learning Management System (LMS).
Holding an impressive academic background with degrees in various fields, Dr. Joe earned an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix in 2005, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Additionally, he achieved a medical degree from Universidad Central del Este in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic in 2001, graduating Cum Laude.
Before that, Dr. Joe attended Valencia Community College, where he earned an AA in General Education and an AS in Emergency Medical Services Sciences, then Life University from 1989 to 1992, where he pursued a double major, obtaining both a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During his time at Life University, he demonstrated leadership qualities as President of the Student American Chiropractic Association and President of the Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique. He was also a member of the Chi Rho Honor Society and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic and lab assistant.
