Get to know Podiatrist Dr. Craig J. Campbell, who serves patients in Staten Island, New York.

A West Brighton podiatrist, Dr. Campbell is the Founder of Forest Foot Care Group in Staten Island, New York. 

As such, he provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for a wide spectrum of foot conditions, including common to complex disorders and injuries that affect people of all ages. He is called upon to deal with some pretty unsightly problems, including thick toenails, warts, calluses, flat feet, and plantar fasciitis – to name a few.

Having grown up on Benedict Avenue on the border of West Brighton and Westerleigh, Dr. Campbell is the middle son of two public-school educators. He attended Muhlenberg College and the College of Staten Island, before earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1990. From there, he went on to perform his residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.

Holding over three decades of experience, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (DABPS), which strives to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by advancing the art and science of foot and ankle surgery. 

Maintaining fellowship status, Dr. Campbell is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS) and a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine (FACFAOM).

In his professional experience, he is affiliated with Richmond University Medical Center and Staten Island University Hospital-North.

Podiatry is a branch of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis, and medical and surgical treatment of a variety of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity. A podiatrist, also known as a podiatric physician or a foot and ankle surgeon, is a medical professional devoted to the treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity. They can treat injuries and complications from ongoing health issues like diabetes.
