Get to know Pulmonologist Dr. William Rhoton, who serves patients in Texas.

A highly trained pulmonologist, Dr. Rhoton believes in quality and compassionate care in the specialized aspects of pulmonary and sleep medicine. In practice since 2000, he sees patients 17 years and older at Millennium Physicians at the offices in Houston and The Woodlands, Texas.

Millennium Physicians offers quick appointments and coordination of care with other physicians, as well as in-house pulmonary function testing and sleep testing. Whether in the office or a hospital setting, Dr. Rhoton takes pride in spending enough quality time with his patients, so they have a better understanding of their condition. 

His clinical interests include asthma, bronchoscopy, chronic lung disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, lung biopsy/surgery, lung cancer, medical ICU patients, obstructive sleep apnea, pulmonary hypertension, sarcoidosis, and spirometry.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Rhoton graduated with his medical degree from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Montefiore Medical Center North in New York.

With an unwavering commitment to his speciality, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
