Dr. Travalia graduated with his medical degree from the University of Padova Medical School in Italy in 1969, giving him over five decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his medical degree he relocated to the United States and completed his internship and internal medicine residency with Genesee Hospital. He then completed his internal medicine residency with the Nassau University Medical Center. Furthering his training he completed his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship with the University of South Florida.
Dr. Travalia is tri-certified in Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
