Dr. Reddy received his medical degree from Kurnool Medical College in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India. He entered private practice soon after he completed his residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Elmhurst, New York.

A highly trained and qualified psychiatrist, Dr. Reddy earned board certification in psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine, and forensic psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the public interest and the professions of psychiatry and neurology by promoting excellence in practice through certification and maintenance of certification processes.

Dr. Reddy is a member of the advisory council of the North American Telugu Association.
