A board-certified urologist, Dr. George W. Jabren welcomes patients at UAG Urology of Greater Atlanta at their offices in Griffin, Spivey Station, and Stockbridge, GA. He also practices at several local hospitals, including Piedmont Henry Hospital, Northside Hospital, and Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital. As a urologist, Dr. Jabren has dedicated training and unique experience in the management of diseases of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system. His areas of clinical expertise encompass urologic cancers, kidney stone disease, advanced laparoscopy, men’s health, as well as male and female urinary issues. Licensed to practice in the state of Georgia, he has a remarkable professional journey that spans seventeen years. Dr. Jabren is a volunteer with the International Volunteers in Urology and has had his work published in medical journals. The published author of several urological book chapters, he has given countless presentations among peers and future doctors. He dedicates his spare time to basketball, running, traveling, and walking his dogs.

A well-respected member of the Atlanta medical community for the last 13 years, Dr. Jabren is affiliated with Urology of Greater Atlanta, operating out of the offices in Griffin, Spivey Station, and Stockbridge, Georgia. His areas of expertise include urologic cancers, kidney stone disease, advanced laparoscopy, men’s health, as well as male and female urinary issues.
Urology of Greater Atlanta offers the residents of Atlanta a team of top quality urologists and surgeons experienced in every aspect of urology, including: urologic oncology, kidney stones, female urology, and male infertility. Their goal is to provide compassionate, quality care using the latest proven treatments, and state-of-the-art technology to achieve the best possible results for every patient that they see.
After receiving the Scholar of the College Award and graduating magna cum laude from Boston College, Dr. Jabren received his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine where he was accepted into the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. He then completed his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at Tulane University in New Orleans.
A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the American Urological Association, the doctor is board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU). The mission of the ABU is to act for the benefit of the public by establishing and maintaining standards of certification for urologists, and working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, and ethical urologic care.
Practicing medicine in the state of Georgia, Dr. Jabren can be found on staff at Piedmont Henry Hospital, Northside Hospital, and Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.
Continuing to stay updated on the newest high-tech medical and surgical techniques within urology, he has been published in several medical journals, has authored urological book chapters, and has given countless presentations among peers and future doctors. He shares his excitement for urology in and out of the office, further evidenced by his volunteer efforts with the International Volunteers in Urology.
Urology, also known as genitourinary surgery, is the branch of medicine that focuses on surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary-tract system and the male reproductive organs. Urologists specialize in diseases of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system. Patients may be referred to a urologist if their physician suspects they may need treatment for a condition relating to the bladder, prostate, urethra, ureters, kidneys, and adrenal glands.
As a testament to his success, Dr. Jabren has been the recipient of the Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2018, 2016), Patients’ Choice Award (2018), and On-Time Doctor Award (2018).
Outside of his professional life, he is married and has three sons. He lives an active life enjoying basketball, running, traveling, and walking his dogs.
