Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Ravi Gorav, who serves patients in Lawrenceville and Suwanee, Georgia.
Dr. Gorav is a knowledgeable otolaryngologist with a mission to enrich the lives of patients by providing world-class medical care. He was in solo private practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico from 2002 until joining Northeast Atlanta Ear Nose & Throat, PC in 2017.
Practicing comprehensive otolaryngology, he has a special interest in facial plastics, otology & skull base, and sinus surgery. He is on staff at Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Gwinnett Medical Center, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.
In regards to his educational background, Dr. Gorav graduated with his medical degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer in India. He received his residency training in otolaryngology at Karnatak University, Victoria and Bowring Hospitals, and Yale University School of Medicine. He received additional training at Stafford District General Hospital in the United Kingdom.
Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his internship in general surgery at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. This was followed by a fellowship in otology and skull base Surgery at Basavanagudi ENT Care Center in Bangalore, India, and a two-year fellowship in otolaryngology at Manhattan Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital in New York.
With a commitment to excellence, Dr. Gorav is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. It serves the public by assuring that diplomates meet our standards of training, knowledge and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.
