Dr. DeBry received his Medical Degree (MD) from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City in 1996. He went on to complete a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinic and a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Utah Medical Center.
Dr. DeBry is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). The ABO is an independent, nonprofit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists (eye physicians and surgeons) in the United States. Founded in 1916, the ABO was the first American Board established to certify medical specialists and is one of 24 specialty Boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA).
