Academically, Dr. Parver received his medical degree from McGill University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Royal Victoria Hospital and his fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery at the Cornell Medical Center, New York Hospital.
Licensed to practice medicine in DC, Virginia, and Maryland, the doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). The ABO is an independent, nonprofit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Parver has been elected to the Royal College of Surgeons in Canada, and is a member of the Retina Society, the Macula Society, the American Ophthalmological Society, and the Washington DC Metropolitan Eye Society.
