Kamini Patel, MD, FAAP, is a leading pediatrician currently serving patients at her private practice, North Wake Pediatrics in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has devoted her life to the care and well-being of her patients and their families. Her care extends beyond the immediate physical needs to their developmental needs as well. Dr. Patel has exceptional diagnostic as well as practice skills. She understands that sparing a child the trauma of a hospital stay is of enormous value and fills a much-needed gap in child care. After earning her medical degree in 1989 at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Dr. Patel completed her residency at the New York Medical College in 1994. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a board-certified pediatrician with the American Board of Pediatrics. Additionally, in order to stay up to date on all medical advancements in her field, she maintains a professional membership with the American Medical Association and the North Carolina Medical Society.
