Currently, she is in practice with Urology Clinics of North Texas, operating out of the office in Flower Mound. She also holds the vital role of Medical Director of the Pelvic Health and Reconstructive Surgery Center at the Texas Health Presbyterian hospital in Flower Mound. In this capacity, she provides advanced diagnostic testing for pelvic floor disorders and offers the latest minimally invasive techniques to effectively manage complex pelvic organ prolapse and severe incontinence issues.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Tchetgen graduated with her Undergraduate Degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, and her Medical Degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She then went on to perform her internship at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson – New Brunswick, her residency at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, and her fellowship with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Skilled and experienced in her field, the doctor is dual board certified in urology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Urology (ABU). The mission of the ABU is to act for the benefit of the public by establishing and maintaining standards of certification for urologists, working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to insure the delivery of high quality, safe, and ethical urologic care.
In terms of preceptorships and presentations, Dr. Tchetgen has presented on various urology topics at notable institutions such as the NMA-Urology section, Texas Urological Society, Texas Medical Board, and the PACE Preceptor program by Bard, Inc. She has also served as a speaker for Allergan and Astellas, and held the role of a key opinion leader for ACELL, Inc.
Urology, also known as genitourinary surgery, is the branch of medicine that focuses on surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary-tract system and the male reproductive organs. Urologists specialize in diseases of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system.
