Dr. Witkin, an emergency physician, has been working at Jefferson Health Northeast division Hospital since 2011.
Founded in 1903, Jefferson Health – Northeast has grown from a single hospital on Frankford Avenue to the largest healthcare provider in Northeast Philadelphia and Lower Bucks County. It comprises three hospital campuses—Torresdale, Bucks, and Frankford—two outpatient centers, and a growing network of nationally recognized physicians.
Dr. Witkin graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. She then went on to perform her surgical emphasis osteopathic internship at Graduate Hospital in 2006. Dr. Witkin started her five year residency program in Emergency Medicine /Internal Medicine at Aria Health (Frankford Hospital System) after completing her internship and graduated in 2011.
She is a Board Certified Physician of the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. AOBEM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of acutely ill patients with advanced cardiac life support, trauma, and the management of other life-threatening medical issues.
On a professional level, Dr. Witkin is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Association.

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Witkin enjoys playing tennis, swimming, family time, and theater, cinema and travel. Her favorite place to vacation is in Hawaii. She is also a devoted wife and mother to three daughters and a second generation physician. She enjoys carrying on her family tradition of practicing medicine and healing her ill patients.
