A native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Dr. Guest received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University and his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Tennessee- Chattanooga, and has been in private practice in Starkville since 2001.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, he is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
