Get to know Dentist Dr. Jennifer Arscott, who serves patients in Old Greenwich, Connecticut.

A skilled dentist, Dr. Arscott works alongside her husband, Dr. Alireza Namjoo, at their private practice - AN Family Dentistry - in Old Greenwich, Connecticut.

Pertaining to her educational pursuits, she graduated with honors from the University of Toronto, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. She then went on to complete her Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center, and has received advanced training in early orthodontic treatment and sleep apnea.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries, create beautiful smiles, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

On a more personal note, Dr. Arscott met her husband when attending NYU College of Dentistry. Coming from vastly different backgrounds of Berkeley and Toronto, they were faced with choosing where to settle down and practice. Both shared a love for New York but also wanted a smaller, more close knit community life, which led them to Connecticut. They live in New Canaan with their two soccer-mad boys and love serving the communities around Old Greenwich.
