For small kids how frequent should dentist visits be?
It is recommended that you get twice yearly check ups. Most dental diseases (cavities) can be prevented and if detected early, most of the time be treated without anesthesia. READ MORE
Will frequent teeth cleanings remove spots from my teeth?
Depends on what the "spots" are caused by. They can be calcifications, decalcification, stains etc...These can be very superficial that can be polished away or deeper into the enamel which could possibly be bleached or removed and filled. At your next check up let your dentist know your concerns and have them evaluate appropriate measures to remedy. READ MORE
Why am I so exhausted after removal of infected root canal molar?
Hard to say that two weeks after an extraction is related with your current fatigue. I would contact the dentist that removed your tooth and have the extraction site inspected. If everything appears normal then there could be some other underlying health concerns that a physician and some routine blood-work could detect. READ MORE
Very swollen and red gums after routine dental cleaning
Soreness two days after a routine cleaning is unusual, unless it was a periodontal procedure or "deep cleaning". 400 to 800mg of Ibuprofen is good if you're able to take that along with warm salt water rinses. You can also apply to the areas Anbesol or OraJel with a cotton swab. I would also recommend checking in with the office about your circumstances. READ MORE
