Get to know Gastroenterologist Dr. Michael C. DiMarino, who serves patients in Woodbury, New Jersey. 

Dr. DiMarino is a highly trained gastroenterologist whose special interests include Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, and inflammatory bowel disease. He is in practice with DiMarino, Kroop, Prieto Gastrointestinal Associates in Woodbury, NJ. 

The mission of DiMarino, Kroop, Prieto Gastrointestinal Associates, is to be the premiere gastroenterology Consulting group in the Delaware Valley, provide the highest quality of care to all patients, maintain a close working relationship with referring physicians and employees, and to respect the rights and dignity of the people they serve. Professionally, Dr. DiMarino is affiliated with Inspira Health and Jefferson University Hospital. Alongside his clinical role, he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University Hospital in 1998. He then went on to perform his internship and residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in gastroenterology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, completing his training in 2004.

With an impressive professional journey, Dr. DiMarino has been board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
