Dr. Blair is a board-certified Radiologist, who has practiced in the Valley since 2005. She started her career at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, CA in 1999 where she practiced general radiology. She held an academic position at the University of San Diego, CA helping to train the musculoskeletal Fellows. During this time, she was also the section chief of CT and Ultrasound. She and her family were then stationed in South Carolina where Dr. Blair worked full time as the section chief in MSK at SouthCoast Medical Group in Savannah, GA. Since then, she has been an independent contractor specializing mostly in sports injury imaging at respected radiology practices in Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ. This includes Desert Valley Radiology, Valley Radiology, and John C. Lincoln Hospital. These opportunities have given Dr. Blair the ability to concentrate on her true passion in medicine, she is able to provide very focused care to her patients as well as attention to detail for the ordering physicians.
She earned her degrees through a combined undergraduate/medical 6-year accelerated program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College in New York. Dr. Blair went on to complete her residency in diagnostic radiology at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Thereafter, she became board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology, a not for profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
Continuing her education, she went on to pursue her fellowship in osteoradiology (MSK) at the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. The training offered great opportunities for research and teaching from which she gained her expertise in musculoskeletal radiology. During this time, she felt privileged to be trained by Dr. Donald Resnick and Dr. Mini Pathria, who subsequently provided many opportunities in her career.
