Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Margaret L. Ng-Cadlaon, who serves patients in Coal Grove, Ohio.
Named Best Physician in the Tri-State area (West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio) in 2020, Dr. Ng-Cadlaon deals with the health and medical care of infants, children, and adolescents from birth up to the age of 18. She is the owner & operator of Coal Grove Pediatrics in Ohio.
Prior to her current endeavors, she was a Biology Instructor at the University of the Philippines (1982 – 1983). She also served as an attending pediatric physician at King’s Daughters Medical Center – Ashland and Bellefonte Hospital in Kentucky.
Graduating valedictorian from Baguio Patriotic High School in the Philippines, Dr. Ng-Cadlaon went on to graduate cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of the Philippines in 1982. Five years later, in 1987, she graduated cum laude with her medical degree from Saint Louis University-International School of Medicine, where she was awarded the “Most Outstanding Medical Student” Award.
Continuing her training, she performed her pediatric residency at Philippine General Hospital in Manila in 1990. Upon relocating to the United States, she went on to complete an internship and an additional pediatric residency at Cook County Hospital in 1993, where she was named Most Outstanding Pediatric Intern.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Certified through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates & the Federation Licensing Examination, Dr. Ng-Cadlaon is licensed to practice medicine in Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois.
