Dr. Starks received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Loyola University New Orleans in 1998. He further advanced his medical education by graduating from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in 2005. Following his Medical Degree, he completed a residency in family medicine at the prestigious University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital from 2005 to 2008, where he distinguished himself as chief resident.
After completing his residency, Dr. Starks joined the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago as an assistant professor of clinical family medicine.
