A professional and exacting physician in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Romero heads the very successful Pelvic Floor Therapy Program for pelvic issues at The Rubino OB/GYN Group, with offices in West Orange, Summit, and Warren, New Jersey.

A graduate of the University of New Mexico, Dr. Romero earned her medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and her fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Duke University.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology & urogynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
