Serving the country since 1992 at six convenient locations, the mission of NeoMed Center is to provide high-quality primary, preventive, and specialized health services using an integrated evidence-based physical and mental health model aimed at disadvantaged people, vulnerable populations, and the community in general. The values ​​that guide the executives of NeoMed Center include commitment, responsibility, honesty, integrity, sensitivity, collaboration, and compassion.

Following the completion of her medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico, Dr. Paredes went on to serve her residency in pediatrics at San Juan City Hospital.

Licensed to practice medicine in Puerto Rico, she is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Puerto Rico Medical Association.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. As a pediatrician, Dr. Paredes provides medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. She is trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
