Dr. Monica Zucca is an experienced AP/CP pathologist specializing in cytopathology and hematopathology with a strong emphasis in breast and GI pathology. She aids in establishing diagnoses in tissue biopsies to determine if a patient has cancer, practices in genetic testing, and completes many laboratory examinations keeping tight quality assurance protocols in place. She has worked in multiple teaching and private hospital settings and other institutions (i.e. Google consultant for artificial pathology projects and as medical director in plasmapheresis units overlooking clinical patient care for donors at the center). She works closely with oncologists, radiologists, and surgeons in aiding to provide critical diagnostic information to support excellent patient care. This pathologist can also perform autopsies to gain information about the progression of a disease in addition to determining cause of death.

- Having grown up in an interesting environment, she grew up traveling the world, she grew up very responsible, and was taught to make something of her life. Along the way she met a neurosurgeon that inspired her to go into pathology.
