Dr. Michael Grams, a seasoned dental professional with over 35 years of experience, is the Founder of Contemporary Dentistry at Gold Canyon Village. Located in the heart of Gold Canyon, Dr. Grams is committed to providing the highest quality dental care using the latest advancements in technology and techniques, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and personalized treatment.

A proud graduate of Indiana University, Dr. Grams earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry in 1984, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1988. Since then, he has dedicated his career to family dentistry, with a focus on continuous education and skill enhancement. 

Dr. Grams has extensive training in advanced dental procedures, including porcelain veneers, advanced cosmetic dentistry, TMJ therapy, implant restoration, orthodontics, and more. His passion for dentistry extends to treating children, making him an excellent choice for families seeking a compassionate and skilled dentist.

After many memorable vacations in Gold Canyon with friends who are also local residents, Dr. Grams and his family decided to call this beautiful area home. They fell in love with the community and the landscape, where Dr. Grams is excited to contribute to the health and wellness of his neighbors through his dental practice.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Grams has a strong commitment to community service. He has served as past president of several organizations, including the Long Beach Country Club, Michigan City Men's Golf Club, the American Cancer Society, and the local branch of the American Dental Association (LaPorte County Dental Society). His dedication to leadership and philanthropy reflects his belief in giving back to the community.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Grams is an avid golfer and an accomplished musician. He founded a band called The Rock Doctors, where he plays lead guitar and entertains audiences. He also cherishes family time with his two sons, Cameron and Joseph, especially enjoying watching them play hockey. Joseph has also joined Dr Grams’ current local band:  Mesa Midnight which focuses on classic rock music from the 50’s through the 80’s.
