Renowned Surgeon Enhancing Patient Care in Ohio

A highly skilled cardiothoracic surgeon with extensive training and expertise in robotic and structural heart surgery, Dr. Neravetla brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Springfield Heart Surgeons team, providing exceptional cardiac care to patients in Springfield and Beavercreek, Ohio.

Academically, she completed her medical education at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio, where she developed a strong foundation in surgical principles. She then pursued her residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital, affiliated with the University of Miami, where she honed her surgical skills in a high-volume, diverse environment. 

Following her residency, Dr. Neravetla completed fellowships in thoracic robotic surgery at Baptist Health System - South Miami Hospital and in structural heart surgery at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, Georgia. This advanced training has equipped her with cutting-edge techniques and innovative approaches to complex heart conditions.

Board-certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, she is dedicated to advancing the field of cardiothoracic surgery. Her medical interests include TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement), robotic surgery, and endovascular surgery, aligning with Springfield Heart Surgeons' mission to provide the latest treatment options to patients.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Neravetla is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the Cardiothoracic Surgery Network, the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association, and The Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Her involvement in these organizations underscores her commitment to staying at the forefront of surgical advancements and best practices.

Reflecting on her success, she attributes much of her achievement to the guidance of great mentors throughout her career, including her father, a cardiothoracic surgeon who inspired her from a young age.
