Born and raised in Lubbock, where she excelled in school, Dr. Anderton graduated from Lubbock High School with Honors and on the Dean’s list at Texas Tech University. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry.
Having been practicing for over 15 years, she currently serves on the board of the Texas Dental Association and on the delegation of the American Dental Association. She is a past President of the South Plains District Dental Society.
Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Anderton has been nominated for Texas Dentist of the Year. Her goal is to continue to provide exceptional treatment and educate her patients on maintaining optimum oral health.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
When not in the office, Dr. Anderton is an awesome mother of two beautiful girls. She loves to travel, read, practice yoga, and help others with Spanish. “Our Lord has blessed me with the gift of healing and given me the knowledge and wisdom needed to help others. I give Him all the honor and glory.”
