Dr. Tolulope Olabintan - Dr "O”, as she is fondly called by her patients, is a life-enthusiast, a Christian mom and wife who enjoys good cuisine and can’t get enough of the colors teal and orange. She is also a Board-Certified Primary Care, Lifestyle & Obesity Medicine Physician and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physician and has been serving in the medical field for over 14 years. She is also the co-founder of Livingspring Family Medical Center, a clinic in Mansfield, Texas where she helps people young and old live long and well because she believes the quality of life is just as important as the quality of life. Livingspring was coined from the bible describing God as “The Living Spring” and the ultimate source of true healing. In the place of service, Dr. Olabintan serves as a conduit of such healing in an atmosphere of compassion, sincere care, and with her sound medical knowledge. She is passionate about helping people to feel and be so they can fulfill their God-given purpose.

Born in Nigeria, Dr Olabintan has always had a passion for medicine from youth. She graduated as the youngest student with honors from high school  from Temple University, Philadelphia where she was celebrated on National TV. She went on to complete her medical degree at UMDNJ Rutgers Medical School in 2007. Dr Olabintan is an advocate and is big on community service. She was awarded a scholarship by the Board of Concerned Citizens, Newark NJ for her community service while in medical school. She also received the Member of The Year award by the Student National Medical Association for her outstanding service to the community and medicine.

Dr Olabintan also organized and participated in mission trips nationally and internationally including in Haiti, Senegal, Ghana, Guyana and Nigeria. She initiated relief efforts and co-founded Operation HEAL (Help Elevated Affected Lands) to help with relief efforts in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina, Ivan and Jeanine. Dr Olabintan went on to finish her Family Medicine Residency from Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Jamiaca Hospital Family Medicine residency where she served as Chief Resident in Residency. She was also awarded the Resident Teacher of the Year by The Society of Teacher of Family Medicine in recognition of her demonstrated interest, ability and commitment to family medicine education. Dr. Olabintan continues to garner awards including Top Doctor in Family Medicine and Top Doctor in the International for demonstrated success and leadership in their profession.

An avid advocate for women as the glue of the home and the community Dr. Olabintan then went on to complete a women’s health/surgical obstetrics fellowship at St Francis hospital in 2011 where she found new ways to lower mortality risks in women around pregnancy.

 

Dr Olabintan did not stop there. She went on to become an HIV specialist by the American Association of HIV specialists and served the HIV community advocating for patients to prioritize their health and to fight HIV with medications and lifestyle. Dr Olabintan is speaker, blogger, writer, poet, mentor and is a thought leader in her community. She is a Youtuber and uses her virtual platform via livestreaming to educate viewers on health topics in an easy to understand and adapt format. She has garnered over 1000 google reviews with 4.9/5.0 average.

She mentors students in person and virtually with health care interests in her practice starting from high school all the way to medical school and she coaches mentees on leadership principles, team building and maximizing level of impact as a health care giver.

When she is not seeing patients, Dr Olabintan can be found spending quality time with her husband and 2 kids. She enjoys singing, dancing, and hanging with people being poured into and pouring into others.

She can be seen singing in her local church choir and teaching Sunday school to children who she adores. She sees herself as a big kid in their midst and can be seen speaking in schools encouraging the next generation.
