From 2007-2010, Dr. Johnson furthered his medical training and knowledge at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he pursued a postgraduate fellowship, specializing in medical oncology and internal medicine. While attending MD Anderson, he concentrated in renal medullary carcinoma and lung cancer.
He has served academic administrative appointments including his term as director of the Graduate Medical Education Core Curriculum Lecture Series for MD Anderson.
