Scholastically, Dr. Patch graduated Summa Cum Laude from Union College in Schenectady, New York in 2004, receiving many awards and appearing on the Dean’s List every semester. Five years later, in 2009, She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, once again receiving multiple awards, including the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Merit Award.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
A testimony to her longstanding success, Dr. Patch earned recognition in 2012 by being featured in the prestigious list of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry in Dental Products Report. Additionally, she has shared her expertise through lectures on implant dentistry and boasts multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals.
