Richard Alfred Scarnati, BS, MA, RPT, DO, LFAPA, is currently a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry/Forensic Psychiatry at Ohio University. Throughout Dr. Scarnati’s career, he has been honored for his great successes including winning the Amnesty International human rights heroes contest, publishing his book, “Soul Explosion”; where he shares how he accomplished the impossible by giving his life to Jesus and being “supercharged” by the Holy Spirit, as well as many other recognitions. He is a noted expert on forensic psychiatry, osteopathic medicine, and physical therapies. In addition to his many successes, Dr. Scarnati is also a Life Fellow of the esteemed American Psychiatric Association.
