Norman Goldstein, MD, is an advisor to the National Skin Cancer Foundation and chairman of the Pacific Safe Sun Hawaii Programs. Dr. Goldstein is Editor Emeritus of the Hawaii Medical Journal and was chosen as the Hawaii Medical Association's Physician of the Year in 1993. In 1998, the Governor of Hawaii declared July 14 as Dr. Norman Goldstein Day; in honor of his research, public service, and education endeavors. In 2004, Dr. Goldstein became the first dermatologist to receive a laureate award from the American College of Physicians.
