Dr. Gerald M. Pohost's research initiatives have been focused on diagnostic testing for heart disease in women. He is the developer of a program which uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS). He is also a member of the executive committee in the WISE (Women's Ischemia Syndrome Evaluation) study.
