M. Akram Khan, MD, is the Founder and President of the Cardiac Center of Texas; he is board certified in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology and has been practicing in Texas since 1997. As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Khan uses the most innovative techniques and equipment. In 2003, he was the first cardiologist in Collin County to deploy a drug-eluting stent. Dr. Khan is author and co-author of many publications, presentations and abstracts, and has completed countless experimental and clinical studies. He established the North Dallas Research Associates, where he currently serves as the Director.
