Ian Renner, MD, FACG, FRACP, began practicing medicine in 1963 upon his graduation from the University of Auckland. He has taught and conducted research in the United Kingdom, Japan, and the United States, and was a Professor at the University of Southern California's School of Medicine. Dr. Renner was one of the first gastroenterologists to use endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreaticography (ERCP) to treat disorders of the pancreas. Today, Dr. Renner practices at the California Digestive Diseases Institute in Los Angeles.
