Dr. Paul J. Mathieu is the junior assisting attending physician at West Care Medical Associates in New York, New York; secializing in internal medicine, OB/GYN, and Pediatrics. He began his career after graduating from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in 1992 and completing his residency at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Jamaica, New York. After graduating, Dr. Mathieu was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine in 2000 by the New York Medical College where he continues teaching today. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. In 2009, Mathieu received the compassionate 'Doctor Recognition' award, and from 2008 to 2010 was granted the 'Patient's Choice' award. He attributes his success with the ability to communcate effectively.
