Shayma Al-Mudhafar, MD, recieved her medical degree from the Univeristy of Baghdad in 1998 before completing her residency at Northeast Pennsylvania Hospital and Drexel University Hospital. Dr. Al-Mudhafar is a member of both the National Arab American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. Today she practices internal medicine at Millenium Medical Center in Alexandria, Virginia; she speaks and lectures locally, and attributes her great success to her family.
