Albert Johnson, MD, FACS graduated from the Christian Medical College Hospital of Vellore, India in 1967. He continued his training in the United States, completing both his general surgery and orthopedic residency at Tufts University, New England Medical Center. Dr. Johnson says kindness and genuine caring are two of a doctor's most important traits. He instills this acquired wisdom on his students, working as a Clinical Instructor for the Somerset Family Practice Residency Program at Somerset Medical Center. Dr. Johnson is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, as well as a member of the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society, New Jersey Medical Society, Somerset County Medical Society, and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
