An established endocrinologist, Dr. Goldenberg is the Founder of Functional Cholesterol, Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Mason, Ohio. A native of Russia, Dr. Goldenberg graduated with her medical degree from the First State St. Petersburg Medical University. After relocating to the United States in 1996, she completed her residency in internal medicine at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2002. She then went on to complete a fellowship in clinical and research endocrinology at the University of Michigan in 2007.
Upon her return to Ohio, she worked at the Cholesterol Center with Dr. Charles Glueck while holding a post as an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati. In 2012, she transitioned to the Mercy Endocrinology Clinic and in 2017 founded the Functional Cholesterol, Diabetes and Endocrinology Center with focus on cholesterol and diabetes.
Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in endocrinology and clinical lipidology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. She is also certified by the Diabetes Technology Society.
Continuously advancing her efforts, Dr. Goldenberg is an active member of the IFM Functional Medicine, the American Medical Association, the Endocrine Society, and the National Lipid Association.
