Today, he serves as Medical Director of the Physical Therapy Department at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Dowdy served as their Chief of Surgery from 1998-2000 and as a member of their Advisory Board from 2003-2004. He is affiliated with South Lake Hospital and the Heart of Florida Medical Center, and is also a member of the American College of Surgeons.
