Tandy Freeman, M.D., is a Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgeon in Dallas, Texas specializing in the evaluation and treatment of injured athletes and active persons. Dr. Freeman graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1984. He completed his internship at the University of Utah and his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and affiliated hospitals, as well as a Fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute. Dr. Freeman is the Medical Director of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s Justin Sportsmedicine Team and the Professional Bull Riders Sports Medicine Team. He has also served as Team Physician of the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Freeze and as an Orthopedic Consultant for the Dallas Burn and a member of the physician pool to the United States Ski Team. He was named to the Texas Monthly's 'Super Doctors' annually in 2008 through 2017. Dr. Freeman is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Texas Society of Sports Medicine, Texas Medical Association, and Dallas County Medical Society.
