Bruce Fishman MD, MPH, FICS, received his medical degree in 1979 at Wayne State University School of Medicine, in Michigan. Upon completion of his degree, Dr. Fishman went to the Medical College of Wisconsin to complete his internship and Henry Ford Hospital for his residency. Since beginning his career, Fishman has become a member of the International Spinal Injury Society, the American College of Occupational and Emergency Medicine, the American College of Neurological and Orthopedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons. His excellent work in the medical field acknowledged when he won the 'Patients Choice Award' in 2010. Today he practices orthopaedic surgery at Family Urgent Care and Industrial Medical Group in California.
