Salvador B. Cecilio, MD, obtained his medical degree at University Of Santo Tomas, Faculty Of Medicine And Surgery in Manila, Philippines in 1967. Upon completion of his degree, Dr. Cecilio performed his residencies at Clark Air Force Base in 1968, Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1969 and the University Hospitals, also in Cleveland in 1972. Since beginning his career in medicine, Dr. Cecilio has become a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Western Orthopedic Association and the Honolulu County Medical Society. Today he practices orthopaedic surgery in Ewa Beach, Hawaii; he credits his success to hard work, sweat, tears, and luck.
