Charles L. Beck Jr., MD, received his medical degree in 1982 and residency in 1987 from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship training in Salt Lake City for knee, shoulder surgery and sports medicine; and the coveted European traveling fellowship in sports medicine. Since establishing a successful career as a physician, Dr. Beck has become a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, European Society for Sports Medicine, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy; The Herodicus Society, and The Magellan Society of Traveling Fellows. Since 2007, he has been an Adjunct Faculty of Family Medicine and Sports Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine; and in 2008 to 2009, won the 'Patients Choice Award'. Today, Dr. Beck practices orthopaedic surgery at the Center of Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Excellence in West Jordan, Utah, Jordan Valley Medical Center in Utah, and The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in East Murray, Utah.
